Competitors
My direct area (athens, watkinsville, oconee, greensboro) has a pretty small population. There are several companies offering web dev and seo work, but I don't consider most of them to be strong competitors (though a few are). I'm hoping we can rank really well in this area. The direct competition that I see in my immediate area is as follows:
- Seoteric Web Design and SEO (very nice site, strong competitor)
- Georgia Local Marketing (nice site)
- Lewis SEO
- Bipper Media (nice site, strong competitor)
- Athena SEO (absolutely sucks)
- SEO My Business Athens
- SEO Athens GA (site sucks)
- Picobarn - Website Services (nice site)
- Prolifik Marketing (very nice site, they do more web dev than SEO)
- Kaptiv8 (very nice site, strong competitor)
- Business Consulting of Athens (site sucks)
Atlanta is a much larger city and therefore has a lot more competition. However it also has a much higher search volume for "seo company atlanta" and "atlanta seo expert" etc.
Competitor's City Pages to Emulate
Please see these screen shots. They are from a company called Make It Loud which does web design, SEO, etc. in multiple cities near me. Note the number of city pages that they have for the following keywords:
- Digital Marketing
- SEO
- Web Design
They are targeting several locations in our area and ranking extremely well for many of them. This is what I intend to use the SuperSpun articles to replicate unless otherwise directed.
